Imagine for a moment you are spending a lazy afternoon in one of the quaint little towns scattered across Kentucky, stopping for moment in a local coffee shop to enjoy a fresh hot cup of coffee on a cold cloudy day, when you look out the window and start seeing snow flakes, the only think left to do is grab a camera and a couple who can command your attention. Amanda & Aldo traveled down from Michigan to spend a romantic weekend together in their favorite hide out just a few hours from home, Louisville, the city has captured their hearts as much as each other did. What started out as just another chilly afternoon turned into a winter wonderland with a very romantic twist. We are so looking forward to their September wedding!
When our credit union called in a favor to run a photo booth for their annual end of summer charity event for Children’s Hospitals I was happy to say yes! We met a lot of great people and had a ton of fun with our basket of props for the kids to dress up with, even some of the older kids got in on the fun, heck even had a grandma wearing a costume! Making people smile is what I love about photography, but making people laugh is just an absolutely wonderful perk of the job. We are offering these photos for people to use as they wish for personal use only, basically that means you can’t sell the image or use it any commercial medium, posting on facebook is ok, emailing it to grandma is cool, selling it to Martha Stewart magazine is not!
The photos here are just a highlight, if you would like to see all the photos please visit our online gallery by clicking this link: End of Summer Fest Pictures
Erica is an all around great person to know, she is hard working, honest, and always has a smile for anyone. This year I am starting to add senior portraits/shots to my list of services I will be offering, pricing and availability will be updated on the site shortly, for now these few shots were taken just before the sun was going to start setting. We had a lot of fun trekking around Shelbyville stopping randomly by abandoned places and taking photos.

One of the things I love most about photography is the opportunities it affords me to travel to places I normally would never venture, meet Lonnie and Miriah who shared a bit of Heaven USA with me on this late spring afternoon. On a remote path out in the deep countryside I met up with them to photograph their engagement session. They invited me to their families get away on a 140 acres of open grassy fields with a lake front view, if you ever needed to get away from it all and just relax this is the place to go. They were an amazing couple to work with and they were so well suited to be together as the pictures below tell the whole story.
