Imagine for a moment you are spending a lazy afternoon in one of the quaint little towns scattered across Kentucky, stopping for moment in a local coffee shop to enjoy a fresh hot cup of coffee on a cold cloudy day, when you look out the window and start seeing snow flakes, the only think left to do is grab a camera and a couple who can command your attention. Amanda & Aldo traveled down from Michigan to spend a romantic weekend together in their favorite hide out just a few hours from home, Louisville, the city has captured their hearts as much as each other did. What started out as just another chilly afternoon turned into a winter wonderland with a very romantic twist. We are so looking forward to their September wedding!

Congratulations to Ron + Natalie! We had a very successful day the rain even cooperated with the events, it started raining right as they were driving off with the wedding party to the after party, amazing but true. Everything went off without a hitch and it was an amazing day for Ron and Natalie. Natalie was so much fun to work with, an absolute dream to photograph. Natalie is set to deploy to Iraq sometime later in the year, I hope they will enjoy these photos for the time they have to be apart. Thank you guys for allowing me to be part of this truly wonderful day.

My first wedding! At last someone actually asked me to photograph their wedding, I was lucky enough that it was in an amazing restored building in beautiful downtown Vicenza Italy. I brought so much equipment in order to be sure that I had just what I needed to get the right photos that I was sweating so much that had to keep wiping my brow, amazingly funny now that I think back about it. I took over 3,000 photos and the edit sessions I embarked on were a painful lesson in learning how to use my camera better. Anyway Erik and Quiana were both stationed in Vicenza Italy when they decided to get married, as luck would have it I happened to at just the right place at the right time in order to be asked to photograph their wedding. I was super excited that they asked me to capture these special moments! As always prints for these can be purchased from SmugMug!

Vicenza Italy, as the summer winds down this couple completes their wedding vows amongst a small intricate group of friends. Military posts overseas always seem to bring strangers together, a family of sorts when you are with out your family. On short notice they asked if I would be willing to take a few pictures for their impromptu wedding. They have been together for many years and at last decided to make it official. Here are a few of the great moments from their ceremony and reception.
